Early of this year when I tidy up my lab table, i come across this old module that we use it a long time ago. It is dusty and the paper also had change color..oh well, it sure recall such bitter sweet memories. I used to have the softcopy somewhere long time ago, maybe it is with my fellow friend Mr Rohit, ex-smsl's physics teacher. Here some preview of the module

UNDERSTANDING ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE


AVOID MISCONCEPTION!!
1.-JANGAN ANGGAP SEMUA WEIGHT OF WATER DISPLACED = WEIGHT OF OBJECT DAN SEBALIKNYA.(the principle is about weight of water displaced equal to buoyant force not equal to weight of object, but buoyant force depends on it(weight of object),whether floats or immersed(dipaksa selam).

2.-PASTIKAN BETUL!! RAMAI YANG TIDAK FAHAM KONSEP DAYA(FORCE).DALAM PRINSIP INI ADA PELBAGAI DAYA(BUOYANT FORCE,UPTHRUST,WEIGHT,WEIGHT LOSS).ADA YANG "EQUALIZE" DAYA DENGAN "VOLUME" BILA MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH.
CTH: In experiment, after object is immersed,the water displaced in eureka tin is 50ml,....... Find buoyant  force.
                           Buoyant Force =  water displaced
                                                   = 50.----------->TOTALLY WRONG!!!
